Animal Show At Vinpearl Safari

Vinpearl Phu Quoc Safari is Vietnam’s first Wildlife Conversation and Care Center built based on Safari World. The 380 hectare total area of Phu Quoc Safari converses 150 fauna species, 3000 individuals and 1200 flora species. The animals come from all places on earth and are divided into two main areas: Safari Park and Open Zoo.

Open Zoo

The Open Zoo is home to 40 local fauna rare species together with many wild animals from main geo-biological regions on earth like Africa, Europe, India and Australia… Open Zoo’s animal houses are constructed with a very modern design, optimizing not only the living environment condition but also the vision of the visitors.

Safari Park

Phu quoc Vinpearl Safari

Safari Park is built under the toughest requirements of a safari park model – which can provide a completely free and open environment for the animals. Each park developed its own habitat system which is consistent with the biological behavior of each species. There are no cages or shelters and the wild animals live freely in real nature.

Location:

On the north island, about 20 kilometers away from the central town Duong Dong. You can get to Safari Phu Quoc either by taxis or motorbikes.

Vinpearl offers free shuttle bus rides from Duong Dong to Safari Phu Quoc which costs much less than a taxi. Go to the official site of Vinpearl Land to get the bus schedule. Picking up sites are:

Price ticket for Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc

Fees charged by heights:

• Children under 1m in height: no charge
• Children from 1m – 1,4m in height: 500,000VND per person
• Adults: 600,000VND per person

The costs above are already included the bus ride around the safari. You can get cheaper tickets by buying them from third-party agencies. Services

• Safari Park is opened from 9:00AM to 15:50PM weekdays. The last bus to Safari Park departs at 15:20PM.
• Animal performances (behind Flamingo restaurant): Mon – Thu, 10:00AM – 10:30AM; Fri – Sun, 10:00AM – 10:30AM and 14:00 – 14:30
• African tribe performance: Mon – Sun, 9:20 – 9:50 and 15:30 – 16:00

You can feed the elephants, giraffes, lemurs with cost 30,000VND per pack of food. Notice that you can’t feed the animal with your own food and do not make contact with the animals if not allowed. When taking pictures with animals, you have to have a staffer nearby to make sure you do not hurt or harm them and ensure your safety.

You can take photos of you and the animals after the animal performances for a fee of 50,000VND per shot.

There are also a lot of restaurants inside the park which are named after the animals like rhino restaurant or flamingo restaurant…. If you don’t want to go to restaurants, a fast-food stall serving snacks, drinks, ice cream also is available.
